RELIEF AND REHABILITATION PROGRAM

A program to provide relief and rehabilitation to Muslim victims of sectarian violence and natural disasters in India. Help is channeled through existing Muslim charities and orphanages in India.

Delhi Riot Relief

$25,000 grant to victims of the communal riots in February 2020 in northeast Delhi. Relief is to rehabilitate the houses and shops of about 100 victims.


Flood Grants

$5,000 grant in November to victims of floods in Hyderabad city.

COVID-19 Assistance

$15,000 to victims of the COVID-19 pandemic who were laborers and became unemployed and penniless as COVID spread and a lockdown was enforced in India.

KERALA FLOOD RELIEF FUND

AIM has provided financial help to victims of floods in Kerala.

 TSUNAMI DISASTER

AIM raised and provided $25,000 in relief help to victims of the Tsunami disaster in Tamil Nadu and Kerala through Muslim Service Society in Calicut to rebuild houses.

GUJARAT GENOCIDE

In the aftermath of the massacre of Muslims in Gujarat, organized fundraising events in several cities in Eastern US, collected about $200,000, and distributed the money to the victims in Gujarat through several charitable organizations. The funds were utilized to build a very large number of houses and re-build damaged houses for the thousands of victims of the 2002 genocide of Muslims in Gujarat.

EARTHQUAKE IN GUJARAT

Raised and distributed relief funds ($25,000) for the victims of the earthquake in Gujarat.

SECTARIAN VIOLENCE IN KOSOVO

Raised and distributed relief funds ($5,000) for the victims of the massacres in Kosovo.

Raised and distributed relief funds ($5,000) for the victims of cyclones in Orissa and Gujarat.

SECTARIAN RIOTS

Organized a fundraising dinner, collected $25,000 in donations and distributed it to victims of sectarian riots in Hyderabad, Delhi and Ahmadabad.
